Servings: 4 meals
Cooking time: 80 minutes

Chefs' Cookery Club brings you a different kind of food today. Pierogi is one of the most popular dumplings in Europe. It is very popular in countries like Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia and is a popular food in Europe as well as in countries like Europe where America and Canada live.

This porridge is a very old snack that looks like the patties we are used to in Sri Lanka and can be enjoyed by all your family, especially the little ones.

A filling made with wheat flour and eggs, stuffed with potatoes, minced meat and cheese, is boiled in hot water and then lightly fried in oil.

Finely chopped caramelized onions can be garnished with finely chopped parsley, which goes well with sour cream.

Try it out and tell us how your family reacts.

Ingredients

Steps

1

Let's make the dough first. In a large bowl, add flour, eggs, sour cream and water and mix well to form a ball of flour

2

Once the mixture becomes a ball of flour, knead well for 2, 3 minutes

3

Cover the dough with a plastic wrap and set aside for 30 minutes

4

While the dough ball is on the side, make the filling. Add the mash potatoes, cheese, garlic, salt and pepper to a bowl

5

Mix the mash potatoes with the cheese until well mixed

6

After 30 minutes, take small pieces from the flour ball and roll them into balls

7

Sprinkle some flour on the table

8

Take the balls one by one and roll them thinly until they are about 4 inches round

9

Put about a tablespoon of the filling in the middle of each flour circle and fold it in half

10

Use a fork to seal around the freshness so that the filling does not come out

11

Let's fry. Place a saucepan on the stove and add butter to it

12

When the butter melts, add the boiled porridge parts and fry until golden brown on both sides

13

Send to the table in a hot frying pan until golden brown
