Servings: 3 meals
Cooking time: 35 minutes

Chefs' Cookery Club brings you a very tasty naan recipe today. This is also the first Indian dish brought to you by the Chefs' Cookery Club. Naan is widely consumed mainly in India as well as in Asian countries such as Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

Today we bring you a very simple method of making naan. This is very easy to make and can be eaten by all your family including small children. These naan breads go well with any type of gravy and can be eaten with any meat, seafood or vegetable gravy. If you have leftover gravy from lunch, you can easily prepare naan for dinner and enjoy it with it.

Prepare the naan mixture at least an hour before dinner, as the naan should be allowed to rise for about an hour.

On a cool day, preheat your oven to a minimum and turn off the heat when the heat is on, add the flour mixture and let it simmer

You can add ghee instead of butter to the baking tray to make it more palatable.

Spread melted butter on top of the baked bread, sprinkle with something like coriander leaves and serve hot.

This naan bread is very old-fashioned and smells good.

Try it out and tell us how your family reacts.
