Cooking time: 30 minutes

Chefs' Cookery Club brings you a very tasty snack today. Dhal Wade is something we all love to eat. Born in the southern Indian state of Kerala, also known as Dal Vada or Parippu Vada, this lentil wade is a very popular snack among South Indians.

Today we bring to you a very easy way to make this dhal wade at home which is very popular among us in Sri Lanka.

The lentils used in this lentil wade, which can be easily prepared in about 30 minutes, should be soaked in cold water for about two hours, filtered and used. So if you want to make dhal wade for dinner, remember to soak the lentils after lunch.

When grinding pea lentils, remember not to add water in any way
Check its condition several times and grind only until the mixture becomes a sticky paste with no crumbs left until it is liquid.

Enjoy this lentil wade with a cup of finely chopped ginger tea today.

Try it out and tell us how your family reacts.
